There are thousands of applications in a world of Palm and sometimes it is hard to select appropriate program for yourself. Below are listed apps from my personal pick. Most of these titles have been used by me for a years. They have survived on my Palm, they were approved by time. Probably these apps are not "the best of all", but they are good enough to use, they are doing their work well. So, you can rely on my opinion and boldly download, purchase and use them. This will definitely save your time J I like straightforward and simple to use programs and avoid cumbersome or sophisticated software which is just a bunch of features. Personal information managersThought ManagerOutliner. Hierarchical todo & memo.Forget about most of builtin PIMS, throw out memo, todo and notes. Thought Manager will do this much better. Now I'm using builtin DayBook + ThoughtManager and no more PIM's. Without Thought Manager my personal records were just a junk heap, but now they are clearly and neatly stored in a hierarchical way. I'm keeping a little family album on my multimedia card. Nice to show my photos to friends. Also there are some pictures for child and origami schemas.
Very good viewer, now I'm using it instead of AcidImage.

TCPMP - The Core Pocket Media Player
Video player. Watch usual divx and mpeg movies on Palm without convertation.
Freeware!
Just copy your favorite movies to SD memory card and watch them.
It is better to reduce video resolution to 160x120 or 320x240 (480x320 for fast devices) to have a good performance.
Much better compression than Kinoma
Also able to play audio/mp3.

Money manager and expense tracker
Has a Freeware lite version
Use Handy Finance to answer questions like: "How much money do I have?", "What incomes and expenses are planned?", "What have I spent my money on?" and so on.
Certainly, it will be hard for me without this software. Using full version I'm accounting my personal and family money as well as my small business.
